Chriss Sopke has been the Lead Pastor of New Life since moving from his hometown of Indianapolis in 2015. His wife, Kristi, is also deeply rooted in faith, holding a nursing degree from Oral Roberts University (Tulsa, OK).
Their love story is a testament to the power of faith and commitment. Chriss and Kristi met as high school sweethearts in the church choir and were married in 1999. Together, they have built a loving family with two children: Ana and Christopher Jr. Chriss was ordained with the Assemblies of God in 2002, and the couple has served in full-time ministry since 2000.
Chriss and Kristi cherish time with their family and friends, often gathering around a campfire. They delight in prayer retreats, worldwide traveling, or locally exploring the Mission Mountains. Above all, they are passionate about seeing people realize their full potential in God’s plan for them, guiding and nurturing their spiritual journeys.
